Half-Day Conference and Luncheon

Wednesday, Nov. 14 ? 8:30 ? 11:45 (conference) and 11:45 ? 1 p.m. (luncheon)

Change isn?t just a buzzword ? it?s the reality of business today. From heightened global competition to economic pressures, political worries to evolving technology, the business landscape is rarely the same two days in a row.? That presents communicators with fundamental challenges:

  • How to get your workforce to pay attention when they?re more stressed than ever
  • How to help your company shift directions ? fast ? to face a future that may not be yet clear
  • How to keep ahead of your competitors
  • How to maintain focus in a world where nothing stays the same for more than a moment

While organizations are embracing change management for everything from large-scale organizational transformations to smaller, process-oriented projects, communicators are wrestling to understand the art and science of managing change. This fall?s IABC half-day conference and luncheon will give you the chance to hear from experts who have helped guide ? and personally lived through ? significant organizational change. You?ll:

  • Gain an understanding of change and what is involved in effective communication
  • Learn key techniques to influence audiences and create more supporters for change
  • Identify what works and which pitfalls to avoid
  • Network with peers and walk away with resource ideas to continue your learning

You can tailor your conference attendance to suit your schedule ? attend the conference and lunch, just the conference or just the lunch ? whatever works best for you!
