Oh my f?king Kojima!!? This is an early review on Metal Gear Rising the newest installment in the series of metal gear solid. In this new installment you take up the mantle of Raiden the cyber ninja that was previously dislike by most gamers of the previous series. That reason is because most gamers were quite upset when not playing as stealthy Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid II. Kojima takes it to the next level with this game; unlike the other MGS games, there?s very little stealth although I?m only three hours into the game.? The main factor the game takes on a Devil May Cry And Bayonetta cranked to the nine?s. The action of the game is non-stop and? the play style is quite inventive. ? It?s not just traditional hack an slash you have to learn how to combine the combos correctly in your skill sets in order to defeat some of the larger characters.
The game goes over the top by not only having you fight other cyber ninjas which are quite adept at their skills but also instantly fighting metal gears ie: gecko variations as bosses and regular enemies throughout the game. The few bosses I?ve encountered in the game hark back to the MSG 4style with the Beauty and the Beast unit styled babes. KOJIMA still asks you to submit to plenty of long full-motion video scenes, which I happened to prefer because it makes me feel I have got my moneys worth along with reasonably lengthy gameplay (unlike Capcom?s Asura?s wrath ).? The control should be easy enough for anybody who?s ever played a MGS game or a Devil May cry / Bayonetta type hack and slash game to pick up with a little bit of focus on what your doing .This game like Metal Gear Solid 4, is definitely a reason to own a PS3. ? I found myself in the first 20 minutes of full-motion video and gameplay screaming oh my f?king Kojima, and saying holy s**t more times I think I ever have in my life.? If that?s not enough reason for you to pick up this game than I don?t know what it is but you should probably stop gaming altogether.? If this hasn?t made you the slightest bit interested then my horrible writing abilities made you not want to pick up this game. OMFK !!!!
