Base salary range flexible potentially to c?60,000.
Our client a well establish provider of development finance for the residential homes sector requires an additional loans manager to augment a small London based team focused on exposures typically from ?500,000 to ?5M. Your role will be to work closely with a team of business development managers operating nationally & fellow colleagues working closely with property developers, valuers, surveyors & solicitors instructing professionals & appraising documentation to manage deals to from inception through to completion over a typical 15-18 month exposure timeframe.
It should be noted that our clients are keen to hire someone who has the skills & desire to develop into a team leader role & ideally to do so within c6 months of joining experience of leading a team or the clear aptitude to do so are in high demand.
Candidate Profile:
- You must be able to work from central London, you will be of graduate calibre intellect & have experience in the banking & finance sector & with a strong legal & commercial bias to your experience.
- Our client are not seeking a lawyer but they do want to hire someone with sufficient commercial nous to see obvious gaps in a deal & to understand what actions to take to close these gaps without the need to escalate every situation to Director of the division.
- Candidates with a background in development finance would be particularly attractive but this is not a pre-requisite. You must be though be a hands on team player equally adept at working with internal business development colleagues as you are instructing & as appropriate managing external valuers, surveyors or solicitors.
Base salary variable according to experience, for the right candidate with obvious future leadership skills a salary of c?60,000 would be available plus all usual large company benefits.
